Well most of us at this point would look at the cheapest option and think about staying at the other persons, fine for most people, but it would be a step too soon for a lot. So if you’re not ok with staying at their place look at a hotel, you’ll be really surprised at how cheap many are. But what every you do go with a positive attitude and plan on treating it as a mini break. If you are the host look at using the time to not only get to know each other, but also show them around your town, again treat it as a mini break.

Over time you slowly begin to get to know each other, the distance is keeping the pace down and in fact you don’t just pop to each others for the weekend, if you’re clever you’re starting to take in other cities in between, really embracing the idea of quality time away from your day to day life and work. Start to open your eyes to all the festivals and great events we have in this country. Before you know it life is full, fun and you have this great person to enjoy it with, so where to next?
